This year's Summer School theme is "Biodiversity and societal transformation: perspectives on science and policy" and is open to international graduate students, postgraduate scientists and professionals in environmental and social science fields. We highly encourage you to have a look at this opportunity, should you be interested in building capacity on science-policy/science-society interface.
All information, including invited speakers, details of the sessions and registrations can be found on the Summer School website. Besides meeting with international experts, you will get the opportunity to share your own experiences and participate in two field trips related to the Summer school themes.
The selection of successful applications is organised by Alternet. If successful, Biodiversa+ offers the possibility to fund the participation (travel and registration fee) of up to 4 students from BiodivERsA research projects to attend the Summer School.
