Magdalena Chułek is a socio-cultural anthropologist and a researcher at the Centre of Migration Research, University of Warsaw. Her research focuses on ageing and everyday coping strategies in environmentally vulnerable urban settings in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. During her six-month fellowship at the Department of Geography and Regional Research at the University of Vienna, she will work on the analysis of ethnographic material from Dhaka and Nairobi within her NCN SONATINA project.
