The Optech ILRIS 3D-HD is a terrestrial 3D laser scanner from Optech Incorporated. The laser scanner, which works according to the pulse time of flight measurement method, detects objects within a range of 3 m to 1,800 m in a field of view of 40 ° x 40 °. The Optech ILRIS 3D-HD achieves a maximum measuring speed of 10,000 points / second. The scanner can be operated in "High Precision" mode or in "Rapid Survey" mode. The 3D laser scanner has an integrated 3.1 megapixel digital camera for color images and a USB interface for exchanging the scan data. It is operated via a pocket PC.

The device is currently used as a permanent laser scanner (pTLS) in the Noeslide research project.
