Research Group Population, Environment, and Development

Our research group focuses on key population geography dynamics and aims to understand and assess them in the context of environmental change and development processes. In particular, we focus on population resilience in the context of social and environmental risks. Through our research and teaching at the interface of population, environment and development, we aim to contribute to sustainable development and improvement of the lives of vulnerable populations.
