Geography of Innovation and Sustainability Transitions (GEIST)

Mission statement:

The GEIST working paper series is an open instrument for early and wide dissemination of pre-publication research papers on topics related to the geography of innovation and sustainability transitions. The working paper series invites scholars active in different disciplines to submit papers that provide novel theoretical, methodological and empirical insights into these research areas.

The editors may decline publication of papers in GEIST if they are a poor fit for the working paper series. The sole responsibility for the quality of the academic work remains with the authors.

Why publish in GEIST?

The GEIST working paper series offers quick and easy publication of papers that fit the thematic scope of the series.

Papers published in the working paper series are made available on the GEIST website and via IDEAS/RePEc. The papers are searchable through Google Scholar and circulated through e-mail lists and social media accounts. All new papers are also distributed to subscribers of the GEIST mailing list.

Published working papers accepted by a journal may be updated with a reference to the journal publication, or removed from the working paper series, upon request.
