SPATIAL PLANNING

Spatial Planning | Spatial Development | Transformation

The working group addresses questions related to societal transformation towards sustainability, with a particular focus on its spatial implications. Operating at the intersection of planning theoretical perspectives and action-oriented planning approaches and tools, we explore how societal transformations take place in our regions, cities, and neighborhoods, how they reshape these areas, and what conditions the respective spaces bring for change. Ultimately, from a planning perspective, our goal is to actively shape the spatial development of our environment in favor of a sustainable way of life.
