At the interface of spatial planning, spatial development, and transformation.

The working group engages in both traditional research within the field of planning sciences and interdisciplinary approaches of socio-ecological research. Additionally, we are committed to the fundamental exploration of planning as a science and its ongoing development. The interface between planning, space, and transformation can be further described through the focal points of the working group: from establishing theoretical foundations in planning sciences to developing integrated spatial perspectives and researching socio-spatial transformations.
