Cooperation

The facilities of the working group function as an open space for studying, exchange and networking. Here, experts in subject didactics, experts in the various disciplines, school teachers, university students and pupils have the opportunity to share experiences and gain inspiration for courses.

In addition, we provide assistance to schools with regard to planning lessons based on subject didactics and with regard to writing pre-academic papers. Our library is a low-threshold offer for pupils and teachers. Our geography and economic education hub comprises a growing collection of lesson plans. Furthermore, we have been very successfully involved in internship collaboration with schools for more than 30 years. Experts in subject didactics organise and enable projects that they chose and developed themselves together with university students, secondary school teachers and pupils.

We are happy to provide our expertise in the didactic planning of courses and participate in (inter-)disciplinary research partnerships with other universities and higher education institutions.

The Didactics of Geography and Economic Education team is also in exchange with partners beyond universities and schools, for example, in collaborations with partners in the fields of politics, economy, ecology or social education and participation.
