Short description: The project focuses on the devolpment of remote sensing based early warning systems for natural hazards in four climate change- sensitive region in the Alps: Bavaria, Tyrol, Salzburg (state) und South Tyrol. Our aims include: the prediction of critical objects jeopardizing the regional infrastructure, and real-time warning of hazardous events. Applied methods: hydrochemical identification and quantification of the degradation of the permafrost.
